DAMON ORTEGA is the owner of Triarm Defense. He is an 8 year Marine Corps Combat Veteran. Damon served multiple tours in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, the Middle East, and Asia as a 1371 Combat Engineer. During his deployments he served as a team leader, squad leader, and platoon sergeant. Through his years In this profession he has received extensive training and instructing in;

                             –  Infantry Tactics, Dismounted/Mounted patrolling operations, CQB Tactics, Security Operations, Intensive training in multiple weapons systems, Demolition, IED Detection and Disposal, Urban breacher tactics, Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist.

Damon is also certified as a Firearms instructor, Paramedic, Tactical Combat Casualty Care, BLS/ACLS/PALS/PHTLS/AED/CRP/FIRST AID, NRA Pistol Instructor, NRA Range Safety Officer, and Self Defense Instructor. Since outside of the military Damon works full time as a Firefighter/Paramedic, and is a loving father and husband to his beautiful business owner wife Crystal Hankel, sons Axel and Ryker Ortega. 

Damon grew up in poverty and was forced to learn the hard lessons life will throw at you in that type of environment.  Using his youth and time in the military he has developed this business in the hopes to pass on his knowledge, and help develop more well trained law abiding citizens. “I’ve been a victim, and I’ve been the protector. I’ve seen how nasty and evil the world can be up close. I wanna help people have the confidence and know how to fight that evil. You don’t have to be a victim”.
